VELLORE: The Young Achiever Award of the Junior Chamber International (JCI), Vellore, was conferred on M. Jaya Vishnu, Junior KG student of the BMD Jain School, Vellore, for his achievement of reciting the names of all the countries in the world and their capital cities, 120 inventions and the names of the scientists who invented them.
The student can also recite the names of all the States in India and their capitals.
C. Gnanasekaran, Vellore MLA, handed over the award to the child at a function here on Sunday. G. Baskaran, former Zone Chairman, JCI-Zone XVI, V. Saravanan, president, JCI-Vellore and S. Ilango, former president of JCI-Vellore spoke.
