COIMBATORE: The City Club recently organised a function to facilitate students of Corporation schools who had bagged the first three ranks in the S.S.L.C. examinations.
The teachers of Corporation Higher Secondary School, Rathinapuri, were also honoured for helping the school achieve 90.91 pass percentage.
G. Soundararajan, Vice-Chairman, C.R.I. Pumps, Coimbatore, who was the chief guest, said the standard of Corporation schools was improving and sought the support of the residents of the city to improve the schools' infrastructure. S. Somasundari, Corporation Education Officer, felicitated the students and teachers. As part of the function, a rolling shield was presented to Corporation Higher Secondary School, Rathinapuri.
