Milestone of India - Rare tribute to Mother India. (Andhra Pradesh - India.)

SANGAREDDY: It's a tribute to Mother India on the occasion of August 15. Marri Mogilaiah is a technician working with the Ordinance Factory, Medak (ODF). He has the hobby of micro art which has turned into a passion.

Recently, he designed the map of India in a bottle with about 3,000 mustard seed. The name India was written with 29 gingelly seeds.

It took about four months to complete the work. He almost spent three to four hours a day to make it possible.

A native of Baopet in Elkaturty mandal of Karimnagar district, Mogilaiah was actually interested in drawing and painting. Later it turned in to micro art, which he continued even after joining ODF in 1998. Since then, he had presented many micro art designs.

“I wanted to do something different. That is why I chose the micro art. This is one of the toughest jobs as it requires more concentration on a continuous basis,” he said adding that without the support of wife Manjula, he could not have been able to design the piece.
