Milestone of india - Brahmotsavam at Tirumala - Thousands witness Lord Balaji procession at Tirumala. (Andhrapradesh - India.)


TIRUMALA: On the third day of the Brahmotsavam of Lord Venkateswara on Monday, the processional deity of Lord Malayappa Swamy was taken around the ‘mada' streets of the Tirumala temple in a grand procession. Thousands of devotees congregated to have a glimpse of the procession.

In the afternoon, temple priests conducted ‘Snapana Thirumanjanam' to the deities for the second consecutive day followed by ‘Visesha samarpanam' at the Ranganayakula mandapam inside the hill temple.
The day came to an end with the colourful procession of ‘Muthyapu pandiri vahanam' in the night. The temple ‘Hundi' received a record income of Rs.1.95 crore and Rs.1.72 crore respectively on the first two days of the festival.
