TIRUMALA: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams have decided to air-condition the entire Vaikuntam second queue complex. Eight compartments have been added to the 23-compartment complex, each equipped to house 750 pilgrims in a single sitting. Now the new compartments will also be air-conditioned. TTD Executive Officer I.Y.R. Rao has instructed officials to extend the ‘access' card system to devotees of all compartments. At present, the facility is available only for devotees of 14 compartments.
