Development of Information and Technology division in Tamil Nadu in the last financial year 2008-2009 has incredible growth in the software market level about 29 % of software market is increased in Tamil Nadu That is Rs. 36,680 crores. This is twice the growth of the average export percentage of INDIA. In the World financial crunch too Tamil Nadu’s Software export has increased steadily which gives a great astonishment in the software market. Last financial year It field has given 2.85 Lacks of Employment for the people, the secretary of IT – Department of the state spoke that the government is focusing on the development of IT Sector in Tamil Nadu concentrating on tire II cities like Coimbatore, Trichy , Madurai, Tirunelveli. In Tamil Nadu there are 28 special IT economical zones in this 19 zones are functioning , In these zones Rs.3,063.45 crores has been invested by this mode 45,000 people were employed, The software exported by these zones are twice the percentage of the last year 2007-2008.
The It park of Coimbatore has 124 internal Department’s where Madurai, Trichy, and Tirunelveli have medium economical balance and lack of skilled technicians the development of tire II cities has developed and providing development in the areas of technology. Leading MNC like HCL, Infosys, Syntel, have made agreement with the Tamil Nadu government to develop the IT Park in tire II Cities. Not only Tamil Nadu is been focused now, many other Villages are also targeted in this which can be a economical boom or an technological disaster as India is called as land of villages.
